Project Details

Dictaphone Corporation is a world leader in healthcare and emergency software systems for hospitals, clinics, and emergency centers.

The Dictaphone web store had undergone a reconstruction from another design firm, however the interface was clunky and the design became stale quickly. The goal was to reorganize the pages, freshen the pages, and streamline the cart system.

The first thing done was to alter the color scheme from olive to bright blues and white to make it clean and inviting. The products were then sorted using categories and new product and product detail page layouts. New options were added such as featured products and recommended products as well as a revamped side bar which shows more detail than before. The checkout process was also made smoother and made the progress more readily apparent. The Dictaphone store does over one million dollars in sales annually.
