Iron Realms Entertainment creates some of the most popular MUD games on the planet including Achaea, Aetolia, Imperian, and Lusternia.

Iron Realms creates text based MUD games for the online community so they never had much of a visual presence. They asked Visionology to help give them an identity as they began to increase their marketing both online and off. Being primarily a game developer in the fantasy genre the goal was to give the logo a corporate look but also retain a bit of the fantasy edge that keeps it in check with their products. We used a rectangular block to set the copy into and a strong modified serif typeface. The graphic variation for use on the web has a background of stone with the logo appearing chiseled into it and the text metallic sticking out from the rock. Iron and stone are two elements often used in the fantasy settings and it plays off the company name as well.
